Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Macro Core. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I export or delete my data?
In the app, go to Settings > Your Data to export everything as one file (always free), or Settings > Account to delete your account. Entries you delete are removed for good after 30 days.
How do I join the beta?
Put your email on the waitlist and we'll send you a TestFlight invite as spots open. Beta testers get every Premium feature free while the beta runs. To be removed from the waitlist, email support@macrocore.app.
Do beta testers get a discount?
Yes. Beta testers get 20% off Premium for their first year: $11.99 a month instead of $14.99, or $47.99 for the first year instead of $59.99. When the app launches we email each tester a personal App Store offer code. Redeem it in the App Store, and after the first year the normal price applies unless you cancel.
There will also be a lifetime pass: Premium for life for $149.99, paid once, with only 25 ever sold. Beta testers get the first 48 hours after launch to buy one, and the first 10 testers who do pay $119.99. After 48 hours, any passes left are open to everyone at $149.99.
What's free and what's Premium?
Logging food, workouts, weight, measurements and fasts is free, and so is exporting all your data. Premium adds every nutrient, long-term charts, progress photos, the stack and more. See the full list.
What happens to my data if Premium ends?
Nothing is deleted. Your history stays in the app, and subscribing again brings every chart back.
Where does the food data come from?
Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central, plus foods you add yourself. Data can contain errors, so check the label when it matters.
